Jovana Č.

I am Jovana, a graduate in Russian Language and Literature. I first encountered Russian in 2020 as a freshman at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš, and four years later I graduated as a student of the generation. Since that same year, 2024, I have been in Russia, studying for a master's degree at one of the most prestigious universities in Moscow.

I have experienced all the stages of learning Russian - from being an absolute beginner at the A0 level to someone who is happiest when they don't speak their native language all day.

I am very drawn to being the kind of support that I myself wanted to have, to contribute to the world by sharing everything I have gained and am gaining - from concrete "school" knowledge to authentic Russian speech that I encounter every day.

Precisely because I know what it means to have a speech block, fear, the moment of "I understand a lot, but I just can't speak", I want from the bottom of my heart to pass on my knowledge and experience (both as a teacher and as a lifelong learner) to everyone who wants to enrich their world in Russian!

In addition to Russian, I actively teach Serbian as a foreign language, and I also work with children of all ages - from kindergarten and preschool to school age: we learn to write letters, compositions, enrich our vocabulary, learn poems, do homework together and prepare for tests. Or, if that is the requirement - we chat, socialise, have fun and support each other on the path of lifelong learning! :)
