Jelena M.

I have several years of experience working with children — as a physics teacher in primary school, a private tutor for physics and mathematics, and through work in private research centres that promote science in Serbia and Croatia, where I have worked with students from lower primary school to high school. In addition to physics, mathematics, and chemistry lessons, I also teach astronomy, and by arrangement, live lessons are possible where students can learn the basics of using a telescope and get to know astronomy through practical work. 🔭🌌 I tailor lessons to the age, prior knowledge, and goals of each student, and I strive to make them interactive, relaxed, and engaging. I work with students to understand and master the material, prepare for tests and written assignments, as well as entrance and make-up exams, and competitions. In addition to working with students, I have been giving public lectures at the planetarium of the Astronomical Society for many years, where I particularly enjoy bringing the universe closer to people and explaining how our Universe works. I am very communicative and easily establish contact with students, so I want everyone to feel free to ask, explore, and make mistakes on my lessons — because that's how you learn best. 😊 I am currently completing my studies in physics at the Faculty of Science in Novi Sad, after which I plan to continue my education with a master's degree in Belgrade, at the Department of Astronomy. Physics, mathematics, and especially astrophysics, have always been my three great loves, and I enjoy passing on this passion for the natural sciences to my students. I believe that with the right teacher, physics and mathematics can become much more than just school subjects. If you or your child are ready to fall in love with the natural sciences, you're in the right place! 🚀 📩 For more information and to arrange lessons, feel free to contact me by email or phone.
